Reckless Driving and Pre-Emptive Driving School

My husband got a reckless driving ticket in Covington, VA. 88 in a 65.
He has another speeding ticket from a few months ago in Arlington VA.
And yet another from a speed camera.

Nothing for the previous 10 years.

Does anyone think it would help if he went ahead and took a driver's education course? If so, are there different types?

Secondly how much of an impact will the ticket in Arlington have on his reckless driving case?

He can take whatever driving school he believes might help, and he can very likely find local schools listed in the phone book.

For a Virginia reckless driving ticket, it would make sense for him to work with a lawyer.
