Can a divorced spouse who does not have enough credits for SS or Medicare be eligible for medicare on her divorced spouse's SS & Medicare credits when she reaches 65.
The party was married for 25 years, and the spouse was a 'home-maker' for the whole time and has only 21 SS Credits.
Being unmarried and 60 years of age, she plans on taking her SS on her ex-spouses credits, but is concerned regarding her Medicare eligibility.
Thanking you in advance for any helpful information.
