Defamation in British Columbia

My question involves defamation in the state of: British Columbia, Canada

Recently, someone decided to post my photo and personal information about me to a well-known gossip site, where people submit photos of mostly women and the site commenters and administrator proceed to tear them down with hateful, racist and perverse comments. Normally I wouldn't really care about such a thing, but it was linked to my career (I'm a DJ) and someone posted my real name and facebook link in the comments. It's now on the first page of results if you search for my DJ name and the word facebook. Is there anything I can do to get this taken down? At the very least, I would like to get my personal information removed so google doesn't connect it for all my fans.

You can ask the webmaster to take it down. I doubt that you can legally force him or her to do so, however.
