Default Patient Billing
I would like to know if there is a specific law on how to send a patient to collections who legally is responsible for paying their deductible and hasnt paid a dollar for services already rendered.

Default Re: Patient Billing
Laws vary by state. You can check listings of collection agencies in the phone book, and see what their fees and policies are for collecting debts.

Most health services providers have patients sign a contract that they will pay the deductible, and that they will also pay for any services provided which are not reimbursed by their insurance.
