Default Store Remodel After Bar from Premises Due to Shoplifting

Lets say a major chain is remodeling their store and it would be closed for at least 8-10 months and Joe Doe shoplifted about a year before the remodel do you think that there would be new staff as most of the staff including manager would be transferred to other stores and the chances of a new management are likely because of the length of the remodel.

If the LP says they review cases in a year after the incident do you think they would remove the Tresspass Ban within a year if no Civil Demand has been administered or no criminal charges have been filed. Lets say Joe Doe did not sign any documents regarding the tresspass but only for the possible Civil Demand do you think Joe Doe could return to the store as a customer and purchase items as it has been a long time since the incident and in this economy stores are looking for money. If the item stolen was around $3 do you think the store would forget about it over time if Joe Doe apologized to the manager and LP Department and they said they would consider the apology?

How do Tresspass Bans work with regards to the remodel of the store would all CCTV Tapes, and documents be destroyed including photos of alleged shoplifters or do they get transferred to corporate LP?

Does Safeway CA subscribe to the National Theft Database?

I am studying Retail Theft and was wondering what do stores do when they close for remodle. When the Grand Opening comes can Joe Doe come in as a paying customer and prove that he has learned his lesson.
