My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: California
I have read that make and model errors on a citations are not grounds for dismissal by a judge assuming must people are asking this at their arraignment. I have a 1995 honda accord 2DR, the officer wrote down 4 DR. White Honda Accords are a dime a dozen. I was wondering if I went to trial, while cross examing the officer and showed a picture of a white 4DR and ask him if this was the car he observed running the stop sign hoping he will say yes. He will probably be looking at his notes. Will I have a chance at winning the case. I will set the foundation with questions like are Honda Accords very common on the road? Can tell the difference from a hatch, 2DR, 4DR and station wagon? The citation was for running a stop sign. Thanks for everyones input.
