Below is a bylaw of my association verbatim.
C) Storage Tanks: Tanks for the storage of fuel are cosidered to be structures and shall be buried or enclosed with wooden fencing (Article 12 of the Covenants). The fencing shall be stained/painted to match the siding of the house or an approved color that will blend with the immediate surroundings. Natural vegetation may also be used (for example, conifers) if it is sufficient to provide complete screening. Generators must be similarly enclosed. (The intent of this requirement is that tanks and generators not be visible from the roadway or nearby properties).
My question is if you cannot see my tanks from the roadway or nearby properties(no neighbors) am I already living to the intent of the bylaw and therefore exempt from fencing them in. Mike in NH.
