    Default Violating Park Hours

My question involves police conduct in the State of: New York

So my friends decided it would of been fun if we brought air soft guns to play man hunt.. of course this was a horrible idea..Then we went to a park to chill, and the gates was wide open. SO we went in like typical teenagers.. we tried to shoot the bottle, there was no one in the park at the time. then around 11:50 cops came by in a car and then found the gun and a sling shot. They got our ID's and address then gave us a warning and a summons and the description crime was "Disobey park sign" because the park is closed at 9:00Pm

How much will the fine be?
And should we just plea guilty because the officer might bring up the gun

    thanks

The fine appears to be around $100, and you could get up to 30 days in jail. (The latter is pretty rare, unless you act the fool in court.)

You'd do well to at least consult with an attorney in your area.

So you think we should just go into court and plea guilty right?

How did you get "Go to court and plead guilty" from "consult with an attorney"?

Pretty sure I'm not speaking Moon Language here. Consult with an attorney - s/he may be able to help you get the charge dismissed.
