My question involves paternity law for the State of: NY
If a party represents false financial data in family court to evade responsibility what can be done?
Are you talking about a child support case?
Is there proof that the party is not submitting accurate information?
Or are we talking about a "they submitted tax info/W2s/whatever but they're working under the table" kind of thing?

It's a case where the custodial parent is not presenting her income in order to paint a false picture to the court, and she also has not filed tax returns to avoid having to come up with thesse. I think that Child support is determined by the financial picture of both parents, and if one misrepresents their financial status, then this may have an impact on the way the calculation takes place.
So...what PROOF exists that the CP is doing something wrong?
(it may be moot - according to this site, only the NCP's income is relevant )
