Driving Record Showing Up on Criminal Record

My question involves a background check in the State of: California
So my wife and I just relocated to California from Ohio via military orders and she was trying to get a job out here and got a job with the initial background check but when they did the full check was denied because she had two misdemeanors that we didn't know about come to find out they are from traffic tickets because Ohio makes all of them misdemeanors. Is there anyway to find a loophole for employemnt if they are denying employment because of minor traffic violations that in Ohio are misdemeanors?

No i am asking if there is a way of getting her driving record off of her criminal record becuase they have no correlation with each other. It is just that in Ohio every ticket you recieve regaurless of what you did it is considered a misdemeanor. I want to know why aren't they seperate and what can be done for her to be hired because she initially was hired by the company but HR dept said no because of the misdemeanors that she didn't know she had.
