My question involves a background check in the State of: California
So my wife and I just relocated to California from Ohio via military orders and she was trying to get a job out here and got a job with the initial background check but when they did the full check was denied because she had two misdemeanors that we didn't know about come to find out they are from traffic tickets because Ohio makes all of them misdemeanors. Is there anyway to find a loophole for employemnt if they are denying employment because of minor traffic violations that in Ohio are misdemeanors?
