Child Accused of Bullying at School

My question involves restraining orders in the State of: WI

My 11 year old is being accused of "bullying" another girl at school. There is no documentaion of this in any way, shape or form through the schhol; it is all just a claim from the other girls parents. Bullying is not taken lightly these days after such instances as Columbine so I am fearfull of our future interactions with this other family.
Should I seek legal advice? Could she possibly have?? What would there be to gain if lawyers were involved? What type of lawyer would I need?

Have you spoken to the school?

Who told you that your daughter has been accused of bullying?

The main question though is this- is it possible that your daughter actually has been bullying the other girl, for whatever reason?

I know becasue the parents sent me an email detailing everythign that their daughter has explained to them as bullying behavior that my daughter has done.
My daughter states that she has never done any of these things.

I would call the school and meet with the girls' teacher to see if she can shed light on what is happening.

Aside from talking to the teacher...talk to the school principal, vice principal and guidance counselors. Find out what they have to say too.
