Default Roommate issues, want to break lease

I am 5 months into a 12 month lease in an apartment in Michigan. My roommate has made it emotionally impossible to live with her. She drinks underage with her fiance and puts me in jeoporady of arrest. She also is lazy and will not clean. Her fiance's name is also on the lease so we could meet the income requirement for the lease. I want to break my lease with out having to pay the rest of my lease terms rent. Can anyone help me?

Unfortunately, a poor choice of roommate is not a basis to get out of a lease. Maybe your landlord and roommates will let you find a replacement tenant, such that you are released and the new tenant moves in to take your place.

I know that I cannot get out of my lease just because my roommate sucks, but I was trying to figure out if the fact that she is putting me in legal jeopardy by having people over that are underage and drinking without my consent and then allowing them to drive home drunk, would I be able to use this in any way? Thanks
