Jail Time for a Class B Misdemeanor with a Criminal Record

I was wondering what the possible charges (and worst possible charge) for a class B misdemeanor of theft with a criminal record would be? My boyfriend is in jail and hasn't been to trial yet and I was wondering how much jail time we should be looking at.

He also was out on parole and probation for another charge and had time left on that charge.... I didn't know if this would effect it or not.

Without knowing the state and statute under which he was charged, we couldn't even begin to look for that information.

Suffice to say that his current incarceration violates his probation, so he's likely going to end up serving whatever his sentence would have been prior to being granted probation, in addition to whatever new jail time he's awarded.
