Question Relocation and Filing Chapter 7 Bankrupcy
My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Nevada
I currently reside in Nevada and have employment in Nevada (do not qualify for ch7). I will be relocating to Oregon in January without employment. I will file chapter 7 when I get to Portland. To be able to filing BK in Oregon I need to be a resident for 90 days. My question is, once I move to Oregon can I still file in Nevada since I do not have 90 day residency in Oregon? Or is it smarter for me to complete the 90 day residency and file in Oregon?

Default Re: Relocation and Filing Chapter 7 Bankrupcy
Once you relocate to Oregon, you will no longer be a resident of Nevada.
