My question involves personal finance in the State of: CA
I already got a loan from Credit Union before I went to the dealership, and I told them I already have a loan.
Then, they asked me to fill a form, the form title is "credit application", and they said just need some simple information, and won't run my credit.
Today, from Credit Karma I saw I have two hard pull, even one is for VW finance center, and they said that is a backup-plan. OH, there is a backup-plan for me that I didn't know?
They know I already got a loan, why they run my credit for VW finance center? I think because there is 1% diff between CU (1.9) with VW (0.9), if I was approved by VW, I think they will have the 1% benefit.
Fill the VW loan with CU loan, the rest of money is theirs.
They did not inform me at all, even the result of the application with VW finance center.
Is it legal?

Any help will be appreciate

Hello.
I have a check that I want to endorse to someone.
I do not have a bank account and I want to know if it is okay to endorse the check without a bank account number written on it. Once again, I do not have a bank account nor bank account number.
Thanks in advance.

In April my ex husband received a very large check from the foreclosure settlement. The check was written to him AND to me. I was not made aware of this check until this week. I found out that the check was deposited into his bank "for deposit only" and no forging was done. My signature was not on the check. How can a bank just deposit into his account without my signature. Does the bank have any responsibility for this? Is this a criminal act on his part?

I paid for a ACH stop payment on May 23, 2013 and the transaction still went through on May 29, 2013. The bank told me that the sequence numbers changed. That is why, they couldn't stop it. The merchant mentioned that the bank knows this and they should have gone ahead stop it. So who is right? How do I get my fees waived?

Credit Reports: Renting After an Eviction - I Signed the Lease But Was Not an Occupant

My question involves an eviction in the state of: Alaska.

At 19 years old my mother persuaded me to sign a 1 year lease under my own name. I agreed as her daughter and so her and my niece would not be faced with homelessness. I am now 22.

My mother is not mentally stable (bipolar) and I left the aforementioned premises 6 months ago after physically being threatened by her. I went to the ER but filed no domestic abuse report against her. I roomed with a friend's family for 3 months and for the last 3 months I have been rooming with a different individual.

In early May 2013 my current roommate who had been looking around on court view told me that I had a court date I had not been informed of. They had served the paper to my mother's address and she did not tell me. The breakdown of leading up to the eviction is as follows:

I signed a 1 year lease under my name 3 years ago. We had agreed to pay month-to-month after that lease expired. Up until 6 months ago myself, my niece, and my mother. I have not lived on the premises since November 2012. The owners of the property wanted to sell the house, the worked through an agency "X". "X" gave my mother and niece 30 days notice in March 2013. My mother then went over the head of "X" and persuaded the owners of the house to allow her to pay for the month of April. She paid that month. However at that point "X" abandoned the owners of the house. The issue is while she paid for April, she did not leave at the end of that month and did not pay or make an agreement to pay for the month of May. At that point the owners took ME to court (lease under my name) for May's rent, damages to property that isn't covered with the security deposit, and attorney fees. I'm disheartened, but have come to accept that there's nothing I can do to put this debt on my mother. If anyone knows of some way though please let me know.

The final (hopefully) court day isn't set till the 2nd week of July at which point I will know exactly how much I will owe.

Here's my immediate concern:
My current roommate situation is getting tense. Just personality clashes. My partner and I want to move in to our own place but she has no rental history at all (been living at home while she goes to college) and of course I have this eviction looming over my head and she is having familial disputes as well. Every place I've been looking at has turned me down because I sound "fishy" and "complicated" and "risky". I know I do. But I need a place to live. Nothing big, just no mice or cockroaches... Together my partner and I have worked out our income to pay rent on time and even early and work off this eviction debt once we find out the total amount. But no one is willing to take a chance on us.

Does anyone, anyone, out there have any advice on how my partner and I could make this eviction look less scary? If we pay off the attorney fees we do know the total of will that have any immediate benefit? Any other help?

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Missouri

My wife and I got married a few years ago and shortly thereafter I paid off some medical collections she had. Right after that the collections showed up as joint accounts on my credit report as well as hers. I disputed this with the credit agency, but they verified that it was valid. I complained to the collections agency at the hospital and they said it was legally both our responsibility because we were married. Is there any way to get this off my credit report?

Not sure if it matters, but legally my wife and I have separate addresses.
