My question involves criminal records for the state of: Florida
I just recently have been accepted in the RN program. I had a lot of things to do to get in and now that I have completed the required things my criminal history has come back to haunt me! I have gotten several things on my background, all are misdemeanors and all have adjudication withheld. My question is even with petty theft that was over 4 years ago..they are saying that I might not be able to do my clinicals. I don't understand how that may be when I was employed with the hospital. What do I do..I don't know if they want me to get an expungement if so I won't have enough time before the program starts in 2 weeks. What do I do?

My question involves criminal records for the state of: California

When doing a recent google search I came across some info that's really screwed me up for the last year. According to the Medical Board of West Virginia, a physician that almost killed my mom back in '03 has a lengthy history of drug and alcohol abuse in California. In fact less than 2 months after my mothers surgery, the doctor hurt someone while under the influence. Kaiser settled aprofessional misconduct suit for $150,000 and she pleaded no contest to related misdemeanor charges in '05 of which she violated the terms of the probation for the next three years until warrants were issued for her arrest in '08. She left the state in '09. Being a fulltime caregiver all this time has left me less than broke and i have neither the time nor the money to do research. Calls to the Alameda County courthouse have been fruitless. A journalist told me recently the she had not seen any enforcement action relating to this surgeon so i have no idea if these warrants are active or not. What i do no is that she is still practicing in Florida and her Florida drivers license has a different DOB than she had on her California drivers license. What bothers me the most is that the California Board of Medicine only stated on her profile that her MD license was not current. When i brought it to their attention that the physician had signed a consent order stating all the things that happened in California, all they did was put a note in her profile that she has been disciplined in another state. I have contacted state attorneys and such. Everyone says it's somebody else's problem. When it became known to Kaiser that we were aware of this and asking questions, horrible, inexcusable mistakes started happening to my mother who had been a patient of theirs for 30 years. I finally had to take her to Original Medicare, 20% our cost, since (also their fault) she now has End Stage Renal Disease and no other Medicare Senior Advantage plan would take her. I know these are items for another forum, but anyone aware of arbitration in California knows that Kaiser will and does get away with murder. So my only option is to bring to light that this naughty doctor was working for kaiser and they hid her misdeeds. Other dubious findings are that she lied about her residency at UC Davis. How can i find out if she is in flight?
