My question involves personal property located in the State of: Pennsylvania

I purchased an ATV for my now ex boyfriend to use. He took the ATV to his mother's house to store, at the time that was fine. When I purchased the ATV he had verbally agreed to help pay for it, either by paying the payments or paying half. Since then he has not given me any money for the ATV. Before we broke up I asked to return the ATV so I could sell it, because I cannot afford it any longer he told me he gave it to his kids. I did not approve this gift to his children. The next story was he wrecked it and it is in his uncle's garage getting fixed. However, he will not tell me what garage it is in and he said he will not return the ATV to me.
The ATV is registered to me, I have all paperwork stating it belongs to me. Do I have any legal rights to get the ATV back?

Thanks...

My question involves personal property located in the State of: Oregon

I am wondering what the laws are about trespassing on a property after having lived at a location for a period of time.

Is the person allowed to come back on the property any time he/she wishes?

We have posted no trespassing signs on the property but the police said that since she lived there for a certain period of time and not enough time has passed since she did live there that she is able to come on the property at any time to get her belongings and feed her animals which we believe she should get off the property asap.

Another question, how long can she keep her animals (horses in this case) on the property and continue to come on the property to feed them?

Thank you very much for any advice.

I gave someone permission (verbally) to store their things on my (private) property in New York State. I now want them to remove their things so I can sell the property. They have been ignoring my letters and ignoring (I think screening) my phone calls. I want to give them 2 more weeks to remove their property before it is thrown away. I'm not sure if I can use a certified letter or should use a process server.

My question involves personal property located in the State of: California

I'm 18 years old living in California. My parents took away my phone and laptop. They haven't been letting me go to work, or even contact my workplace to let them know I'm not coming in so I'm sure I'm at risk of losing my job. I plan on moving out, and my friend's parents already confirmed they would rent out a room to me for extremely cheap. My main question is, if I move out, how can I gather my belongings? My parents hid my laptop and phone (both of which I need for college/work). I live with many family members, and many of them are extremely violent and have criminal histories of being violent. I am scared for my safety if I try to start moving my stuff out, but if I sneak out, I would not be able to bring very much. Would the police help me get back my clothes/laptop/phone/other belongings?

The only thing I can prove is mine is the phone since I paid for it myself and still retain the receipt. My mom gave me the laptop as a birthday gift when I was 17, but I'm not sure how I can prove it was a gift and not a loan. To avoid physical confrontation, I would like to sneak out at night but that would likely mean I cannot initially bring very much with me. I mainly want to know how/whether the police can help me get back my belongings (clothes/laptop/phone/other belongings).

To sum up story short we own a race car. One of are sponsors fixes transmission. So when we need are's fixed he said to bring it to him and it would be done in 2 weeks. It has been 1 month when we call or go to the place of business. Employees says that the owners are not there, when as there vehicle is in the parking lot. When he does run into him he says come back tomorrow and he will have it at place of business. But this went on as a daily conversation that never actually was true or actually happened and came back to are possession. What can I do to get my race car transmission back or if there is other things i can do. Thanks

I'm 18 and my mom bought me a Macbook Pro for my 16th birthday. Now that I'm moving out, she threatened to break every single item I own, whether she bought it for me or not, including my computer. Now, my boyfriend tells me she can get in trouble for destruction of property because according to him, my possessions belong to me (legally) whether I bought it with my own money or not. Is this true? Can she get in trouble for destruction of property?

My question involves court procedures for the state of: AR

What would be the course of action needed to claim or keep property that you no longer use? I was using a propane tank from a company for nearly 20 years now. That company has changed hands many times. The new owners of the company were trying to charge a rental fee for said tank that was issued to me for use for free. I refused to pay their fee and promised them that I wouldn't be needing their tank much longer. I have since then purchased a smaller tank and had it placed where the other one was and called several times to have them pick it up for almost 2 years. Can I legally have it removed or sell it?
