I wouldn't be sad, I would be pissed off. Jail would be the safest place for that woman. My wife would repeatedly hit her over the head with a 97lb pulpit sized King James. It would get ugly.

Unfortunately we don't have a national age of consent. 16 and 26 may or may not be legal in some states. When you look at the variance in consent laws though, it is disturbing. What is consensual in one state could very well be a felony in a neighboring state. Hypothetically, if you were in a vehicle, in the act, and crossed state lines, it could go from a good time, to doing time.
